Deliveries + Important Notice

Shower Spares & Parts:

The sale and delivery of all shower spares and parts, is managed by SSP at their website over at:-http://www.steamshowerparts.co.uk. For their order and delivery terms, please visit this link below:- 

Pumps, PEV's, Showerguard:

Pumps, PEV's, Showerguard and other individual items such as Scale Wizard etc - orders for these are normally processed within 24 hours of your order being received and dispatched within 48 hours by a variety of courier services and Royal Mail. A signature may be required.

Shower Cabin Models & Large Items:

Insignia Models: These are clearly denoted with the Insignia branding at point of sale and and all model codes commence with the letters PR or PL - as in PR9 or PL9, or INS as in INS8727. Whether you order online or by telephone, once the order has been processed and a delivery date designated, you will receive an email from Insignia to arrange and confirm the delivery date.

Should you have chosen the 3/5 days or 48 Hours delivery upgrade, these are an outsourced palleted delivery and you should receive your delivery advice email from Insignia the day following the date of your order. Whichever delivery option you have chosen, you will need to Login at the tracking portal and when your delivery date and information is displayed there, you will need to click the Confirm button to accept the delivery date specified. If the date specified is not convenient, click the Decline button and post a note in the message box, so they can arrange a different delivery date for you. Deliveries are carried out on a Monday to Friday basis only.

Should there be no information regarding you delivery when you Login, please return there a day or two later and check again. On the day of delivery, please note that this is an all day window from 8.30am until 6.30pm and your order can arrive anytime between these times. The delivery driver is asked to call customers 1 hour before but sometimes this is not always possible. Should it be getting late in the day and you have concerns, please visit the tracking portal where you should find the drivers mobile phone number displayed. With paletted deliveries, they are only permitted to leave the order as near to you property as access permits. All the above details are related to shower models that have been confirmed as being in stock and available.

Alto & Opus Models: These shower models are clearly denoted with the name branding at point of sale and are further recognised by the product codes such 01, 02, W1, 80, 90 and so on.

With these, both the Free Delivery and 3/5 day or 48 hour options, are for paletted deliveries.

With the Free Delivery, you will be advised of the delivery date within 7 days of receiving your order. Should you choose the 3/5 day or 48 hour service, we will agree a delivery date with you in the case of telephone orders or call you with 24 hours should you place an order online.

On the day of delivery, please note that this is an all day window from 8.30am until 6.30pm and your order can arrive anytime between these times. With paletted deliveries, they are only permitted to leave the order as near to you property as access permits. Deliveries are carried out on a Monday to Friday basis only. Aquaplus & Kubex Models: These models are clearly denoted with the product codes commencing with the letters AP or HY as in AP8010, HY707 for Aquaplus models and the Kubex range, by the model name such as Kingston etc.and so on. With these, both the Free Delivery and 3/5 day or 48 hour options, are normally for paletted deliveries.

General Notes: Very Important - Please Read

Should you not have internet access and therefore not have provided us with an email address, we will post your delivery confirmation and sales invoice copy to you. If you need to change the delivery date after having arranged and confirmed this with you, we will require 72 hours notice to effect such a change.

Where deliveries are made to offshore islands, the local delivery company will contact you upon receipt of the goods to arrange delivery dates and times. For deliveries in Scotland, deliveries cannot be specified to a.m. or p.m. slots. Please note that Fridays, especially preceding Bank Holidays tend to be busy times on the roads. To this end deliveries can sometimes be late due to the increased traffic. If your delivery is running late, please always contact us so we can get you an update on the drivers location and due time.

Note: If after having confirmed a delivery date, you are not at the premises when the delivery is made, a re-delivery charge of £50 will be payable.

Depending on size, most shower units come in 3 or 4 separate packages and where this is being supplied on a palette, it will arrive on a large tail-lift lorry. The delivery palette will be taken as near to your door as possible, but this will depend on any access restrictions (narrow gates, passageways etc). When confirming delivery, we request that you inform us of any further restrictions, that could effect a delivery to your location where perhaps a smaller vehicle would be more suited.

Please be aware that being a national courier service, the delivery drivers in general, are not permitted under Health & Safety or Insurance reasons, to remove the packages from the palette or help you to move them. Their only obligation is to deliver the palette, as near to your property as possible.

In instances where an individual, palette delivery driver may prove extra helpful, any assistance sought or offered in regard to the moving of the separate packages, will be entirely at your own risk as far as damage and/or injury is concerned. Accordingly and because the packages are both large and very heavy (2 man lift recommended), if you do not have a place to immediately store the palletised delivery, such as a garage, we recommend that you ensure two able bodied persons are available at the time of delivery to remove the items and move into a safe place.

Following delivery of your order, you are asked to check the packages upon arrival and inform us of any damage within 24 hours - see our Customer Services page for contact information. Your item will be fully insured against damage or loss, but this is covered by the delivery company ONLY if the damage is noted and signed for as such at the time of delivery. You should check the delivery upon arrival. You normally have approximately 20 minutes allocated for the palette delivery to be offloaded and for you to inspect accordingly. If the delivery is damaged please inform the driver, note damages on the delivery form and contact us as per the details above.

A label with the following wording or similar, is normally attached to your paletted delivery:-

Where damages are not visible at the time of delivery (i.e. delivery shows no sign of exterior damage but contents such as glass is later discovered to be broken), these damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We WILL NOT accept claims for loss or damage under Warranty after this period of time. DO NOT store your purchase unchecked until you are ready to install, always check it within 24 hours.

If your delivery arrives and you are not given ample time to properly check the packages OR there are even the slightest signs of crushing or squashing to the cartons, boxes, shrink wrapping etc., ALWAYS sign for as DAMAGED, as this is the ONLY way we can claim on your behalf, for parts that are later found to be scratched, broken or actually damaged in any way.

Key Component Check:- In addition to checking and reporting any damage, you are also required to check for any missing parts and report this to us, within 5 days of receiving your delivery. Whilst you are not expected to check for every potential missing screw or washer, key components such as the shower tray or bath base; ceiling panel [where applicable]; side, back and front panels; shower doors and main control tower and steam generator [where applicable] are all present and correct. Should any of these major items have issues, please report this to us within the stated time scale to obtain replacements. Such items reported as missing after this, can still be replaced but may need to be paid for plus the delivery of same.

YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED NOT TO BOOK YOUR INSTALLERS/S TO START INSTALLATION ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY, IN CASE OF DELAYS WITH THE ACTUAL DELIVERY SCHEDULE OR, IF PARTS ARRIVE DAMAGED OR MISSING .
