EU Cookie Regulations (e-Privacy Directive 26th May 2011.)

The majority of the web pages on this site use "cookies" to improve your experience and personal use of this website. In brief, Cookies are tiny text files, placed in your computer's browser to record and store your individual preferences whilst navigating our website. This website and most others, have always adopted this practice but a new EU law on cookies (e-Privacy Directive) - legislation which applies to how these cookies and other technologies used for logging and storing user information on devices such as desk top computers, laptops or mobile devices, was actually changed on the 26th May 2011.

These "cookies" help us to understand how our website is being used, so we can make various improvements to content and offers, based on this useage. Tracking code like Awstats and Google Analytics, assists us in recording unique visits to the website - be they new or returning visitors, the traffic sources that played a part in bringing you to our website and so forth. As before, no personal information is collected, just Cookie data as previously described.

When a purchase is made, we use that personal information you have provided to process and confirm your order, make deliveries and so. At no point do we collect or store Credit or Debit Card details as all Card processing is carried out by approved, third-party providers such as PayPal or other Card processors and in this respect, all transaction are encrypted and fully secured. The only other instances where we may use the personal information provided through a purchase or a Newsletter sign-up, is to send details of website up-dates, special offers and new product information.
