With the Insignia 2nd Generation showers, the company continued to reinvent the free-standing shower market in every way possible. In recent times, they upgraded the bathroom experience yet again with their unique LeakFree shower cabin design and as such, it’s proving to be the perfect addition to any en-suite or bathroom.
Even without using sealants, the LeakFree tray on the Insignia 2nd Generation showers, contains the water within your bathroom shower tray and thus off your bathroom floor. It’s the tray design that’s makes all the difference. In one of the innovative features, the lower framework is housed within a 60-millimetre lip. Water drains back into the tray and down the drain by redirected through channels located strategically around the tray. This idea is so simple, yet somehow it hasn’t been implemented until now.
Within the Insignia 2nd Generation showers range, they provide 3 core product types; these being Insignia Shower Cabins that include the main showering features of overhead Monsoon Shower, Hand Shower on a riser bar and hydro massage Back Jets. The Insignia Steam Showers, which feature the same showering facilities, but plus the in-built steam generator and the Insignia Whirlpool Showers that have the further addition of a bath base in various sizes, with the whirlpool spa jet features.
In addition to steam, non-steam and whirlpool…plus of course size and shape, Insignia offer further options for customers to choose from when buying an Insignia Shower. First, there is a choice of having a Chrome frame or a Black frame. Next, the standard tinted Mirrored finish of the interior panels can be change to one of 8 Matte or Carbon colours, including White, Black, Grey or Gold. See Insignia Carbon Colours details here…..

The Insignia shower enclosure has revolutionized the shower cabin industry with the QuickBuild concept, which sets it apart from competitors in more than one way. It can be built in just one hour and be fully functional thanks to the innovative QuickClick framework and the groundbreaking LeakFree tray. With the build simplified and no sealing required, the installation process reduces the possibility of mistakes, resulting in a stress-free shower enclosure installation. It is possible to build the shower unit yourself with an Insignia QuickBuild system, only seeking professional help with the plumbing and electrical connections.
As it’s not the typical fixed-to-the-wall tiled unit, installing a shower enclosure can seem daunting to homeowners or plumbers. Keeping up with the latest technology to make shower installation an easier task is something Insignia is proud to do. With the QuickClick frame being marketed as a DIY product, even those with basic DIY skills could create a frame with this concept. In order to assemble, the top and bottom rails simply slide into cut out sections of the upright profiles. In order to lock the frame into place, you slide securing clips into each corner. Each of these steps should take around one minute to complete, drastically reducing the overall build time.
Leaving stagnant water vapour in the shower enclosure after taking a steam shower can lead to an environment conducive to bacterial growth. After your steam shower, the O3 Ozone purifier is automatically turned on after you deactivate the central column. Your steam shower’s Ozone O3 purifier pulls ambient air (O2) into it. Once the air is accelerated, it is subjected to a high voltage, which converts the O2 into O3. As a result, the O3 leaves your shower, where it can oxidize any bacteria and germs that might be present.
Insignia’s EasyGlide door wheels and magnetic door seals combine to provide smooth operation. When you close the shower doors, these two mechanisms ensure they stay closed. This prevents the possibility of water leaking out of the shower if the doors are accidentally left open.
With Insignia Steam Showers, why not experience Aromatherapy in your shower in addition to your steam experience? With Insignia’s range of Essential Oils, your shower’s steam is filled with therapeutic fragrances. Select one of the 10 essential oils and enjoy a steam infused shower with Insignia’s unique AMI system installed. There is an oil to suit everyone’s needs, from the eucalyptus, lavender, and tea tree aromas of the Breathe oil to the peppermint and lime aroma of the Refresh oil.
Whether you call it color therapy or light therapy, Insignia’s shower chromatherapy lighting will soothe you after a stressful day. The Insignia range of products includes chromatherapy lighting as a standard feature on most units. Each mood can be matched with one of the seven colors offered by Chromatherapy Lighting. Using the built-in sound system, you can create your own in-shower disco with options such as white, green, yellow, light blue, dark blue, purple and red or simply set to scroll through the colours.
A Bluetooth connectivity system is included with all electrically connected Insignia showers. You can control all aspects of your entertainment without stepping outside the shower, thanks to the interior control panel. You can tune in to your favourite radio station on the built-in FM radio or stream your shower playlist or even an audiobook using Bluetooth connectivity to you Smart Phone or Tablet. The latest Platinum models also have the 3rd Generation Control Panel, which provided a a further option DAB Radio.
